Call for Exhibitions

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the Solo Exhibition Series for the CICA New Media Art Conference 2021 and the publication. Selected artists will have solo exhibitions in the gallery space. Around 44 square meters will be assigned for each artist. Selected artists will participate in the conference and have artists’ talks and discussions. Due to the uncertain situation that requires social distancing, we may actively incorporate new media technologies into our event depending on the circumstances, including live streaming, video conferencing and social media, so that new media artists, researchers, and guests worldwide can participate in the event physically and/or virtually. In case the international artist is unable to visit us due to the global pandemic situations, we will assist the artist in installing the works. The artists will be featured in the book “New Media Art 2022,” expected to be published in December 2021. The book will be available in major bookstores in Korea, and in the United States and other countries via Amazon.
