Call for BLM Protest Photography
One River School of Art + Design in Evanston is collaborating with social activist, artist, and photographer Jesse Green to create a group photography exhibition in support of BLM and BLM initiatives.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
BIPOC photographers, activists, artist, and world-changers.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Your photographs of the movement. They can be taken on a smartphone, a DSLR, a pinhole camera... we just want your photography!
WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THIS EXHIBITION:
Our goal is to give exposure and support to BIPOC artists & photographers and to spread the word about the BLM movement. 50% of proceeds from sold work will go towards an organization that is supporting the efforts of BLM.
WHAT IS THE TIMELINE:
Deadline: Saturday, September 12th
Notice of Acceptance: Friday, September 18th
Drop-off of Work: Week of September 20-25
Opening: Friday, October 2nd
Duration: October 2nd - October 30th
