Bucktown Neighborhood & Garden Walk, July 17 & 18, 2021 (Sat & Sun)

The Bucktown Neighborhood & Garden Walk, July 17 & 18, is looking for artists to create their art in our participating gardens. This festival is traditionally an urban garden walk, highlighting around 75 of Bucktown's best gardens. This year, we will be having music almost every hour from 10 am to 6 pm at these gardens, and are looking for visual artists to pair with the music while creating art. Some things to keep in mind:

  • Can you create your art while outside?
  • Artists should be able to create their art in the garden space for at least 2 hours
  • Artists are free to also sell their work, but they must actually create work while at the event. Last year, our one visual artist took this opportunity to give all the proceeds from the event to a BLM cause.
  • Artists are responsible to bring everything they need to create their art
  • Power will be provided
  • What is the minimum space needed? For example, 4 square feet needed.
  • We will do our best to ensure that space is shaded, but there may be times where the artists are exposed to the sun
