Bridge / Assembly Zones Seeks Dancers & Certified Dance Therapists
Bridge, an artistic collective and a 501 (c)3 registered Illinois not for profit, is seeking dance and movement artists, as well as certified dance and art therapists for our upcoming Assembly Zones programs.
Designed by architect and dance lab SITE/less co-founder David Sundry, a prototype architectural structure is currently in fabrication and will be installed at Perez Plaza in the Little Village neighborhood.
Conceived by Bridge founder Michael Workman as a space for hosting the therapeutic benefits of art and interaction, and providing access to crisis resource information, the Assembly Zones prototype will remain in place through mid-November 2021.
We are seeking volunteers to participate in a movement choir and other related programming to share the therapeutic benefits of dance and art. Interested participants need not be certified to participate, but we are specifically seeking certified therapists to organize activities in which other volunteers may participate.
Currently, we are looking specifically only for Veteran's Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, though we expect and are planning additional program dates, including potential Day of the Dead programming at the end of October.
To volunteer, or for any questions, please contact us at email@example.com, with the subject line "Assembly Zones Volunteer Artist" asap.
