Auditions for Improv Playhouse TYA Production of Hansel and Gretel

AUDTION CALL – IMPROV PLAYHOUSE THEATRE FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES

Improv Playhouse will be holding auditions for a suburban based touring Theatre For Young Audiences Production of Hansel and Gretel on October 18th at 10:00am in Barrington (plus any touring shows that may get scheduled). Rehearsals will start in September and will meet at the Improv Playhouse Theatre Campus in Libertyville.

Auditions will take place on September 5th at 7:30pm – 9:00pm in the IP Blackbox Theatre at 735 N Milwaukee Ave in Libertyville, IL.

Actors are asked to prepare a 1-to-2-minute monologue. This can be a previously existing piece, or a short monologue written about your own life. This can include your special skill, a story about your life, a piece from a previous work you've developed, whatever! We would love to get to know you as an artist. A cold read from the script will also be included in the audition.

College level actors are encouraged to audition (actors must be able to be paid by US Laws). Renumeration is show based. Reliable Transportation to shows is preferred.
