Audition for Kid-Friendly "Shakespeare Project"

All contracted work with Theater Unspeakable is PAID.

This project pays $720.

Theater Unspeakable (TU) is holding an audition for its newest project, a devised Shakespeare-based production for students in grades K-3.

This project uses Shakespeare as a jumping off point to introduce theater to young people using physical theater, puppetry and clown.

TU is seeking performers who are:

  1. comfortable with movement
  2. have the ability to portray multiple characters
  3. enjoy the creation of new physical-based work

Performers are asked to wear movement clothes and to be available for their entire one-hour time slot. The workshop will consist of physical games and exercises, creating original stories in groups and as individuals. We strongly encourage performers of all ethnicities, genders, sizes, and abilities to submit.

This project will be rehearsing Mondays and Tuesdays 4:00PM - 8:00 PM during February and March, with a performance in the first week of April depending on cast schedules.
