Audio Unbound: Call for Entries!
[Note: there is no accurate Call Type listed for this Call for Entries -- the true Call Type is: Interdisciplinary, Experimental Audio, Narrative Storytelling)
The annual Third Coast / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition Call for Entries is now open! We're calling audio producers, artists, storytellers, and performers of all stripes to consider entering their best work, and we've created a new category -- "Audio Unbound" -- for multi-platform & interdisciplinary works. Click here to enter.
Since 2001, the Third Coast/RHDF Competition has celebrated masterful, experimental, groundbreaking, and radical works in audio storytelling, and has awarded over $300,000 in cash prizes to many of the most innovative makers of the past two decades. The winners are celebrated across the audio industry, receive cash prizes up to $5,000, and are selected by a cohort of judges — all makers & artists themselves — invited by Third Coast.
This year, we created the "Audio Unbound" category to honor experimental audio works, and to welcome in more artists working across mediums who are embracing audio in their practice.
The Early Deadline — aka your chance to enter with reduced rates — is May 1st, 5pm CST. Stay tuned for all the Competition updates, and sign up for Producer News for the most up-to-date info!
