Twenty years into the new century, arts organizations face ever changing demographics as the country's population becomes more ethnic and racially diverse, younger, and less connected with traditional arts. How do established arts organizations identify and attract new audiences and effectively reach different population segments? How can you connect the arts to a population obsessed with all things digital? This interactive workshop will present information and allow for real life problem solving and solutions. This workshop is hosted by Dawn Frisby-Byers.
- Participants will learn effective marketing strategies to reach different audience segments.
- Participants will learn best practices for social media outreach and engagement.
- Participants will learn tools for authentic engagement with new and returning patrons.
This workshop is free and open to the public but registration is required. This workshop will take place at the Hemmens Cultural Center, 45 Symphony Way, Elgin, IL, 60120.
