32nd Annual Midwest Seasons
ABOUT. Original works should draw inspiration from Midwest impressions and activities (i.e. the excitement of summer sports, the fresh scents of spring awakening, the warmth of a hot cup of soup in the bitter winter, or the crisp autumn colors). Interpretations of the season may be broad and entries are not limited to representational works.
MEDIA. Each artist can submit Up to Three (3) Entries
2-D (on Wall) work may not exceed 2,000 sq. inches and 3-D Work (displayed on a pedestal, installed on wall or floor) may not exceed six (6) feet in all dimensions.
All work must arrive ready for hanging or installation.
Gallery uses a track system for 2-D artwork. Artwork should be able to hang from a wire, picture rings, or other compatible hanging methods. - No single nail clips or saw tooth hangers are acceptable Check with the curator if unsure.
If a covering is required such as glass, the CVA strongly prefers plexiglass.
Art must NOT have been shown before at the CVA.
Art MUST be original and created within the last two years
Work left at the CVA 30 days after the exhibit ends or where no return shipping arrangements are made will become the property of the CVA.
The CVA reserves the right not to display work that fails to meet expectations.
