Sadie Woods

A Chicago native with a childhood steeped in performing and visual arts training, Sadie graduated from Columbia College with a BA in 2000.

In 2006, she participated in Ecole du Magasin’s International Curatorial Training Program in Grenoble, France. There, she realized the collaborative editorial project "Harald Szeemann Individual Methodology" produced in partnership with the Department of Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal School of Art in London and co-ogranized exhibition "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" which toured internationally. Sadie recently completed the Visual Arts Certificate Program from the University of Chicago Graham School in partnership with the Hyde Park Art Center, resulting in co-curatorial project “Mind the Gap” and group exhibition “Front & Center.” She is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Sound at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Sadie’s practice includes sound-based installation and performance, exhibition making, and participation in socially engaged collaborations.
