Teresa Silva

Teresa Silva is the curator of the campus art collection for the College of Architecture and the Arts at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Her writings have appeared in Museums & Social Issues by Left Coast Press, Inc.; PROOF, an experimental UIC MFA thesis exhibition catalogue; and the forthcoming publication Megatheria by Alderman Exhibitions.

From 2009 to 2011, Silva was the curatorial associate at the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum in Chicago. In February 2012, she organized the show "Hits Close to Home" at the Chicago Artists Coalition. In 2012 she exhibited "Black/Inside," a collaboration with artists and activists presented at the African American Cultural Center of UIC, and "Parallel Present Tense" at The Franklin, Chicago.
