The Exchange Exhibition
Through the Midwest Artist Exchange between the Chicago Artists Coalition and The Soap Factory and Springboard for the Arts, the Chicago and Minneapolis participants gained a mutual appreciation and respect for one another's visual practice. The artists agreed to produce two culminating exhibitions for the added benefit of exposing the artists' work to new audiences.
In August 2014, Addendum was the result of ongoing conversations between the Chicago Artists Coalition and The Soap Factory, and includes many of the Minnesota-based artists who participated in the 2013 Midwest Artist Exchange.
