CAC was commissioned by a real estate firm to find an artist to create a mural in their new Loop offices. CAC and artist Justus Roe worked closely with the clients to create a design that reflected both the atmosphere and aesthetic of the office. The clients wanted a work that would excite the team on a daily basis, as well as set an inviting and unique tone for new visitors to the space.
CAC and the Gaylord & Dorothy Donnelley Foundation are pleased to present their curatorial fellowship program. Each exhibition is curated by a graduate of CAC's HATCH Projects and features artists affiliated with some of the twenty visual arts organizations that the Foundation supports in the Chicago metropolitan area.
CAC was invited to commission three artists to create original, large-scale mural works at 1871, a new digital startup/incubator located in the Merchandise Mart.
