An exhibit of photography and illustrations will be on display at Simply Chicago Art Gallery, 1318 Oakton, in Evanston from August 7 to August 29, 2010. The photographer, Gina Urso, has been an avid photographer for many years. She takes pleasure in looking at things with a different perspective and capturing them in a photo. The illustrator, Barbara Rose, has been on a creative journey that has been diverse and ever changing, from a range of gift cards, handmade gift papers, and illustration of a children’s book. An opening reception will be held from 1pm – 5pm on Saturday, August 7. The artists will be present and the public is invited to attend free of charge.
